Lou Lou is a nickname. My name is Laurri.
​I love teaching children to love learning. I love learning what makes children's mind click. If children's attention is captured and kept, I feel success. Because each child learns differently, I love studying and incorporating all the different ways children can learn.

​I​ have over 10 years of experience working directly with children. I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Human development with an emphasis in child development. I have taught children of all ages. I have facilitated Parenting with Love and Logic classes through Mesa Public School's "Parent University" as well as facilitated courses through the After School Programs in Arizona. I am well educated in the Montessori Method of teaching as well as the Project Based Learning Method. I have extensively studied the theories of Multiple Intelligences and learning styles and find it so exciting to see all the different intelligences that each of our children possess and incorporating them into their learning.

​​I am a mom to three amazing boys, 10, 6, and 3. I have enjoyed teaching them to read at a young age. It has been such a joy to be able to study with them those things they are interested in through books and other modes of learning. Excitingly, Each one of my children possesses a different learning style.
