Mud

This page is dedicated to the many projects and activities that have been completed in the past.

Previous Projects

My son was born loving the color red.  When asked what he wanted to study, he immediately stated simply "Red".  What is Red? How is Red form? What comes from Red? Through this one interest of the color red came many other investigations, including red apples.

Fun one here. Thought the kids were incredibly interested in corn when after an attempt we found them in the sandbox building lots of things out of mud.  Mud became our focal point in teaching volcanoes, land formations, and many other fun and interesting things.

These children wanted to study marine biology. This theme or interest soon turned into a discussion on Sharks.  What types of sharks exist?  Where do each of the different sharks live? How fast do sharks swim? These and many other questions created projects and interest for the children to sink their "shark teeth" into.

Bonjour, Je m'appelle Chris.  Friday French Club has become a summer tradition in which children find themselves learning phrases, numbers, colors, letters and much much more all in french.  Through hands-on activities, songs, and games each children will learn to love the french language.

A lego Star Wars Fan and lover of reading all combined into one.  A new lego Star Wars book is created and written.

Where do apples grow? How is applesauce made? What is an apple? What are the parts of an apple? These and many other fun activities and projects created hours of investigation and fun.
